We got up early in the morning because we had a tight schedule for the day. It began with the gondola lift up to the skyline building above Queenstown. It provided a nice view over the lake and the city and they had a Jelly Belly store up there πŸ˜› I got a big pack of them to sweeten my days from there on πŸ˜‰
One of Queenstowns most recommended activities is the Luge and we did in total 5 rides! You aee sitting in a little kart that only has a break. It accelerates just with gravity and if you don’t use the break you might loose control of the vehicle and fall off the track. We all did good and had loads of fun racing down the road. I felt like flying over the little hills sometimes and I screamed most of the time as you know me πŸ˜‰ Having reached the top we relaxed on the edge.

Afterwards we started the most recommended hike in Queenstown, the climb to the summit of Ben Lomond! It was a wonderful hike and (as everywhere here) the landscape was unique and breathtaking! I love the views you have from every single point of the track and how it changes with every step you take. Like the point, you started at, shrinks so fast when you climb and so does the point, you are heading to, grow!
