Yesterday we climbed a mountain called Roy’s Peak of 1573m. It was a long and steep hike with amazing views of the Wanaka lake 🙂 I really love long hikes and I enjoyed the uphill part that was almost endless.

People say it’s more difficult than the Tongariro Crossing with mount doom though I can’t confirm that! You always have the choice between a steeper and a less steeper path. I found out for myself that the less steeper path is the faster and the more enjoyable.

The point were you are walking over the edge and you see the glaciers in the background is so amazing! I didn’t expect the view to be that marvellous! Look for yourself 😉

Today I did a run in the morning during sunrise and I had to stop here and there for a few pictures to share with you 🙂
